Welcome to the 8th Hayes Website.
Should you wish to join 8th Hayes Scouts, Cubs or Beavers then please see the contact page for ways of getting in touch.
are between the ages of 6 and 8 years. Subs are charged at £12.00 per half
term.
are between the ages of 8 and 10 1/2 .
Subs are charged at £15.00 per half term.
are between the ages of 10 1/2 and 15 (at the age of 15
Scouts move onto Explorer Scouts at another Hayes Troop). Subs are charged
at £15.00 per half term.
We do not have an Explorer Section operating out of 8th Hayes. Explorers are 15 and over (really old Scouts go to Scout Network). If you are interested in Explorer Scouts please visit the Hayes and Harlington Website.
Leaders can be any age and we would appreciate all the help we can get. Click here for information about helping the Scout Movement
Please remember that we are a non-profitable organisation, all leaders, assistants, committee members give their time free of charge.
The subscriptions go towards the following:
A MINIMUM OF £7 CHILD IS PAID IN INSURANCE PER HALF TERM.
A PROPORTION IS GIVEN TOWARDS THE UPKEEP OF THE MEETING HUT.
THE REMAINDER IS GIVEN BACK TO THE GROUPS IN THE RESOURCES FOR ON-SITE ACTIVITIES, THE FOOD FOR PARTIES, THE OFF-SITE TRIPS (EXCEPT CAMPS/SLEEPOVERS), RECORD CARDS, BADGES, SCARVES, WOGGLES., CHRISTMAS PRESENTS AND VARIOUS OTHER SUNDRIES RELATED TO RUNNING A SCOUT, CUB OR BEAVER PACK.
ALL THE LEADERS ARE VOLUNTEERS AND GIVE THEIR TIME FREELY AND IN ABUNDANCE.
